Scripps Seaside Forum Wedding – Tiffany and Mousa Highlights

Scripps Seaside Forum in La Jolla is a magical place for a wedding. It is set on a bluff right above the beach with views for miles. An outdoor wedding ceremony is perfect for this San Diego location and the guests appreciate the scenes.

Tiffany and Mousa planned this wedding with intricate detail and many surprises for guests. Many times I say that I feel like part of the family when I film a wedding. That was the case for this one. When their wedding film was complete, I sat back and thought, “wow, this couple has a wonderful relationship and a great family to support it.”

Usually, wedding highlight films are set to music with lyrics. This one did not need lyrics. Tiffany and Mousa had many beautiful words that filled the song. Their family and friends said sweet words during toasts. There were cards with sweet sentiments, ceremony readings from poetry and personal handwritten vows. Los Willows Fallbrook Wedding – Jamie & Robert {highlights}

Doesn’t every little girl dream of getting married in a beautiful garden setting complete with a lake and a processional by boat? Jaime & Robert’s dream came true as they wed in Fallbrook at Los Willows Private Estate & Wedding Venue. It was perfect! Tons of trees and flowers perfectly manicured. An outdoor ceremony in front of the gazebo. An entrance and exit by boat and the lake. Just perfect.

This wedding was special to us because it was our second wedding we’ve filmed for the family. It is always nice to be referred again and to see familiar faces. We already felt like part of the gang.

Jaime & Graham Wedding Highlights

September 5

I remember sitting with a glass of wine and talking all about weddings with Jaime and Graham. They had everything planned out so perfectly and were looking for the last piece, the people to film their wedding video. A smile appeared on my face when Jaime told me that we were the ones. I was more than happy to be a part of their day. When we met, they talked about their families. I knew from those first few moments that these two had their priorities straight and this wedding was going to be filled with love.

Set in the La Costa Resort and Spa, Jaime and Graham said their vows at the end of a flower lined aisle amongst the most important people in their lives. This wedding was also exciting because we were able to create memories with the fabulous Marlo Yoshimoto from Marlo Yoshimoto Photography. Her creative eye captured some beautiful moments throughout the day and she was more than a pleasure with a smile on her face all day.

Carolyn and Jeff Wedding Highlights

Imagine your guests gathered around you, the bridal party lined up on each side, the officiant stating your commitment to one another, and Darth Vader handing over your wedding rings. What?! It’s true! That is what Carolyn and Jeff did for their wedding at Stone Brewing Co. in Escondido, CA. This wedding showcased the  originality of Carolyn and Jeff as they stepped outside of the traditional wedding details.

 

It was a pleasure to be a part of Carolyn and Jeff’s day because we felt a part of the family from day one. Carolyn went out of her way to make her team of wedding vendors feel special and at home. She even made sure we had enough of the wonderful food and insisted we have more. We are grateful to produce wedding films for such wonderful people.

Military Monday

A few weeks ago we had the privilege of filming two Military Monday weddings in La Jolla. Military Monday’s are free elopement services provided to active military by Rev. Christopher Tuttle from Vows From The Heart Ministries LLC. Rev. Tuttle send requests for wedding service providers, such as florists, photographers and musicians. These service professionals volunteer their time to honor the military and to thank them for their commitment to serve our country. Although service providers are not guaranteed to be a part of every Military Monday, we try to be a part of the ceremonies whenever possible.
