Twin Oaks Golf Course Wedding – Jasmine and Randy {teaser}

May 11

I couldn’t resist poster a quick teaser of Randy and Jasmine’s wedding at the Twin Oaks Golf Course. They were so sweet. It was a VERY rainy day, a rare thing in San Diego, but they didn’t let that get them down. Everything, including the yummy food, was perfect. If you want to see the fabulous pictures, visit Melissa McClure Photography. She simply knocked it out of the park!

La Jolla Beach Elopement, Bonnie & Michelle {Highlights}

April 22

Family. That is the word to describe these four people. This is a family that has so much love for one another that it oozes out and overflows. When I first chatted with Bonnie and Michelle about video for their elopement, I was so impressed with the way they spoke about their relationship and their children. It was very clear that the most important aspect of their lives was their family. And what better way to show that love than to include their children in as much of their wedding as possible.

A few days prior to the wedding, I meet everyone at their rental home close to Mount Soledad. What a beautiful setting for filming an interview with each family member. We talked and laughed, and I learned so much about who they were. At the end of the session, I really wanted to be adopted into this family. They were so comforting, so real. Honestly, an ideal family.

The ceremony was held on the beach, right next to the water. Bethal, from Ceremonies by Bethal, was there to officiate and La Vida was there to photograph the special moments. You must check out the photos they captured, they are beautiful. With the sun setting in the background, Bonnie and Michelle recited their vows. It was magical.

Twin Oaks Garden Estate Wedding, Emily & Cody {highlights}

April 15

Tucked away in San Marcos, CA is a quaint garden filled with full grown trees and flowers. The Twin Oaks House and Garden Estate is a perfect mix of a victorian school house and modern wedding venue. The bridal suite is beautiful and decorated with sparkling chandeliers, plush sofas and items from another era. You will feel like you took a step back in time.

The Groom, Cody, is a fellow wedding professional and I was excited film one of the most important days of his life. Afterall, being a photographer, he knows the importance of documenting life events. Although it was a very hot day, everything turned out beautifully. We also had the pleasure of working with Hoffer Photography. They took AMAZING photos of Cody and Emily.

Coronado Beach Proposal, San Diego

July 1

Shooting a proposal film is no easy task, but we are always up for the challenge. When Michael contacted us to film this special moment, we were more than honored. He was a true rockstar in his planning and we were very impressed with his proposal ideas. His soon to be bride, Jackie, is a very special lady and we learned why on the proposal day.

Set on the beach right next to the Coronado Ferry Landing, Michael told Jackie that there were going to be setting up for an engagement party. He had a special blanket created with pictures from dating, her favorite ice cream shipped in especially for her and her family waiting at the end of the dock to watch the event. All in all, this was a very special occasion. Watch to see her reaction… we just adore this couple!

We also want to give a special shout out to Stephina Photography. They were there with us to capture those special moments in pictures. If you are considering a proposal in the near future, make sure to document it! You’ll want to remember every detail.

Congrats to Michael and Jackie!!!
